The Jargon.
Certificates have never really excited this Mama, despite the degree and numerous trainings: I am, instead, an avid truth explorer which takes me to feet of the wisest humans in my field of work.
And so it brings me here, with my jargon and legitimacies that serve me alongside my actual experiences.

I have sat with several hundreds of women in circle, through the Sacred Pregnancy Calgary retreats (est. 2015) co-created with Jennifae Dawn Coburn, of which we offer 4 pregnancy and 2 postpartum retreats each year.

During our time together there is no way around it: we become friends. In order for a woman to begin her birth journey and move through it we have come to know that she simply must feel safe, understood, loved and respected by those who attend her. This is an imperative part of the puzzle that has been missing in institutionalized birth.
